方言词考源是汉语词源研究的重要内容之一。从古至今相关研究工作不少,弊端也客观存在。方言词考源除了要注重跨学科和利用亲属语言进行比较研究的方法之外,还可以通过同源词的系联来为方言词探源,黄侃、徐复等先生已经在这一方面做出了示范。

Exploring the origins of dialect words is one of the important tasks of the study of etymology of Chinese. There are many works from ancient times to today, and shortcomings exist objectively. Apart from the interdisciplinary research methods and comparative study methods with kinship language, the practices of etymology connection should be paid much attention on seeking the origins of dialect words. Demonstrations have been made in this respect by linguists such as HUANG Kan and XU Fu.
