英文摘要：
This paper introduces a new algorithm in fingerprint image enhancement. After normalized preproeessing and wavelet transforming, the effect of the low quality could be restrained. Then estimate ridge orientation, each direction coefficient images were enhanced based on the direction-map and further reconstruction. Simulation results on some typical images show that our proposed algorithm can enchance the fingerprint effectively.
