Current boundary survey method couldn＇t fully consider the movement range of debris flow along road and the way of its treatment.In order to weaken the problem caused by the unclear or unreasonable boundary survey of road debris flow,a method,including its operation flow chart,was proposed from the point of disaster prevention and reduction in road engineering.The method was proposed with the considerations of the characteristics of debris flow disaster forming and the requirement in the works of debris flow investigation,prediction of debris flow movement and evaluation of potential disaster,and management of debris flow disaster prevention and cure.The topics of the land right of debris flow boundary red-line in road engineering and its layout were discussed.The reasonable method of debris flow boundary survey in road engineering was established based on the fruit mentioned above.
