The protocol and peculiarity of CAN（Controller Area Network）——CAN is introduced, and the developmental trend of automobile network system is analyzed. Because the CAN technique is not applied in the domestic car now, we propose a project about how apply the CAN bus in car, and discuss the application prospect in the automobile network system.
