《圣济总录》是国内现存较早的一部由政府官方编纂的综合性医学著作。《圣济总录》设专篇论述消渴,认为消渴主要病因有饮食不节、房劳过度、少服石药、大病体虚,指出其病机根本为阴虚内燥,心火炽盛、肺燥阴虚、胃火亢盛、肾气亏虚均可引发消渴。《圣济总录》对消渴总结、论述全面,对现代中医药研究及临床治疗消渴病有借鉴价值。
英文摘要：
Sheng Ji Zong Lu is one early comprehensive national monograph with official edition. There has been special articals on diabetes on its main causes of disease including dietary disorders, indulgence in sexual activity, take-in of stone medicine, weakness of body. And pathological mechanism of diabetes was rooted in yin deficiency with dryness, hyperactivity of heart fire yin deficiency with lung oly dryness, excessive exuberance of stomach fire and deficiency of kidney qi. This book gives an over-all discussion to conclude the diseases of diabetes, which offers references on modern researches of traditional Chinese medicine and clinical therapy.
