Jose M. Merige was born in 1980. He received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in business administration in 2003 and 2009, respectively, from University of Barcelona, Spain. He also holds a bachelor de- gree in economics in 2005, from Lund University, Sweden. He is an associate professor in the Department of Business Administration at the University of Barcelona now. He has published more than 100 papers in journals, books and conference proceedings, such as Information Sciences, International Journal of lnteUigent Systems, International Journal of Uncertainty, Fuzziness and Knowledge- Based Systems and Computers ＆ Industrial Engineering. He has edited a book ＂Computational Intelligence in Business and Economics＂ published by World Scientific. He is on the editorial board of several journals such as Journal of Advanced Research in Fuzzy and Uncertain Systems, IST Transactions of Information Technology and the IST Transactions of Systems and Cybernetics. He has served as a reviewer of many journals including IEEE Trans. on Fuzzy Systems, Information Sciences, Computers ＆ Industrial Engineering, International Journal of Information Technol- ogy and Decision Making, International Journal of Systems Science and European Journal of Operational Research.
