英文摘要：
Life-cycle is common phenomenon, and the life-cycle characteristic of human settlements is remarkable. Based on the life-cycle theory, the paper discusses the general applicability of life-cycle theory to multiple domains, and the feasibility to Urban-Rural Planning. We discuss the means to build an Urban-Rural life-cycle system, put forward urban-rural life-cycle differentiating and analyze the stage characteristic, influential factors and the idea of urban-rural life-cycle. The study will help us to master the rules of urban-rural development, and to make better decisions.
