对于以多民族共同体的文化传统为基础而形成现代中国来说，从文字书写到口头传承的多民族文学是特殊而珍贵的遗产。2011年，国家社科基金重大项目“中国多民族文学共同发展研究”获准立项。围绕此课题，由中国社科院民族文学研究所和四川大学等机构共同主办的多民族文学系列研讨活动在成都举行。来自各地区、各机构、各学科的多民族学者在学术讲座、项目开题、族际对话、学科整合、跨国比较中，关注和思考中国多民族文学的未来与前景。会议收获的启示与共识，不仅标志看本课题高质量研究的良好开端，也预示著中国文学迎来了新的发展契机。

英文摘要：

To modern China which is formed on the basis of the cultural tradition of multi --ethnic community,the multi--ethnic literature from writing to oral spreading is special and precious heritage. The major project of National Social Science Fund The Study on Mutual Development of China＇s Multi--Ethnic Literature was permitted in 2011. Centering on the pro- ject,the series seminar of multi--national literature series seminar co--sponsored by Institute of Ethnic Literature of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and Sichuan University and other institutions was also held in Chengdu. The multi--ethnic scholars from various regions,agen- cies,and disciplines paid close attention to and thought about the future and the prospects of China＇s multi--ethnic literature in such fields as academic lectures,project proposal,inter--eth- nic dialogue, disciplinary integration, and cross--country comparisons. The enlightenment and consensus of the seminar not only marks a good start of the high--quality research for the project,but also indicates a new development opportunity for Chinese literature.
