The paper takes the No. 7 coal seam of Faer Coal Mine in Guizhou as the research object, the existing problems of the downward hole grouting technology for hole sealing and gas pressure measurement in the coal mine were analyzed, and the technology of gas pressure meas- urement by hole grouting with the two separation section by three block type was put forward. The application of this technology has solved the problem that the water in the hole and surrounding rock fissure affected the hole sealing quality in the process of downward hole sealing for gas pressure measurement and has a good effect on the field application, which accumulates valuable practical experience for the gas pressure measurement of the downward hole.
