The church women＇ s university in China which is built by Western missionaries is one of the various factors which promotes the development of women＇ s higher education dur- ing the period of the republic of China. The church women＇ s university in China inputs the new education pattern for conservative and backward higher education of China,brings the idea of e- quality of men and women on the education, promotes the generation of the modern Chinese women＇s higher education, and cultivates a large number of professional talents with new knowledge. The church women ＇ s university during this period has some negative impacts, but it produces a significant and far-reaching influence both in women＇ s liberation movement and the history of China.
