American writer Fitzgerald＇s classic novel The Great Gatsby was adapted into a movie by Baz Luhrmann.Through visual arts, this movie presents the background of the story, characters, parties, and images, bringing tothe audience a visual feast. Meanwhile, in music, the director made innovation, removing the old-fashioned musicmentioned in the original novel by integrating modern music with Jazz to highlight modernity. These changes arecharacteristic of Luhrmann＇s style.
