随着无线传感器网络技术不断发展,其应用日益广泛,智能交通便是其重要应用领域之一。针对高速公路交通监控的迫切需求,构建了基于无线传感器网络的高速公路智能交通监控系统。但该系统中一些重要参数及其性能在物理环境下往往难于测量和评估,为解决这一难题,建立了无线传输器变通监控网络仿真模型。此外,扩展了NS2功能,使其支持无线传感器网络仿真。并在该环境下对所建模型进行了验证,对其重要参数如网络节点能量消耗、网络密度、数据率等进行了仿真分析。从而实现了系统模型和参数的调整和优化,进一步验证了系统的可行性。
With the great development of wireless sensor network in recent years, it has been widely applied to varied areas. Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) is one of the most interested fields. Aiming at the urgency of highway transportation management, the new wireless transportation monitoring scheme based on wireless sensor network was proposed, namely wireless sensor transportation monitoring network. But the performances of some important parameters in this system are difficult to be implemented in physical environment. To resolve the problem, the wireless sensor transportation monitoring network simulation model was built up. The model was simulated in NS2, in which some new functions were extended to support the simulation of wireless sensor network. Some simulating experiments were designed to optimize these important parameters such as energy consumption of sensor nodes, network density and data sensing rate, so as to optimize the model. The results indicate the system model is feasible with low system cost, low energy consumption and high efficiency.
