The contemporary chapter-titled novel An Unbreakable Oath has advanced the idea of returning to the form of the traditional Chinese literature by its unique combination of the ancient and the modern, the Chinese and the Western, and the traditional and the innovative. The continuation and development of the form of the traditional Chinese literature is an unavoidable important proposition in the trend of reconstruction of the world literature history in the context of post-modern globalization. An Unbreakable Oath plays an extremely important role in breaking the spell of Substitution Discourse in the third world literature and deconstructing the Hegemony Discourse of the Western Cultures in the context of post-colonialism.
