基于最新材料的穷尽逐字调查,本文揭示了既有西周金文关键字“只”的字体研究结果的三点缺失：字体类型遗漏;频率信息缺失;某些字体类型时代判断失准。立足于上述再研究,进一步讨论了断代分期视角的青铜器铭文字体研究的“字体”界定以及服务这种界定的字体调查整理问题。
英文摘要：
This paper reveals three defects in the research of the key word ＂bei（貝）＂ about its phy- sique in the bronze inscriptions of the Western Zhou Dynasty basing on exhaustive survey on charac- ter by character, which are physique missing, frequency information loss and age judgment errors to some types of physique. We analyze issues concerning the physique defining in bronze inscriptions from the perspective of chronology division.
