LIU Xiao-feng et al take ＂creation＂in the humanities as ＂talking nonsense＂. This is to belittle and disparage the academic research,and is to entrench in the traditions but not to carry on the traditions. FENG You-lan,who starts the studies in the history of Chinese philosophy,not only researches the classics,but establishes his unique philosophical system called ＂Xin Li Xue＂,and he is thus an model of carrying on traditions. The ＂national culture fever＂,which rises recently in the mainland of China,has some signs which are suspected of entrenching in the traditions. This can be seen from the debates about ＂concealing between the relatives＂.
