以昆明种纯系雄性小白鼠为受试动物,检测杂粮早餐粉对砷(As)引发的生殖毒性的影响。As染毒组小鼠饮用水中含10mg/L的As,干预组在As染毒的同时用杂粮早餐粉灌胃,6周后检测小鼠睾丸组织的抗氧化指标,并对睾丸组织结构进行分析,统计精子畸形率。结果表明:通过饮用水摄入As能诱发实验动物睾丸组织氧化胁迫,使超氧化物歧化酶(SOD)和过氧化氢酶(CAT)活性下降,还原型谷胱甘肽(GSH)含量下降,脂质过氧化产物丙二醛(MDA)含量显著(P〈0.05)升高,睾丸组织结构出现病理性改变,精子异常率显著(P〈0.05)升高;用杂粮早餐粉干预后,小鼠睾丸组织的SOD和CAT活性提高,GSH含量升高,MDA含量降低,睾丸组织结构趋于正常,精子畸形率下降。上述结果表明,所用杂粮早餐粉能使砷染毒动物的睾丸组织结构和功能趋于对照组,对促进男性健康具有积极的作用。
The antagonistic effects of grain breakfast powder on arsenic-induced reproductive toxicity were analyzed in male Kunming mice. The male mice were exposed to 10 mg/L As (sodium arsenite solution) for 6 weeks by drinking water. The mice of antagonistic group were given grain breakfast powder by gas- tric perfusion twice a week during As exposure. The present results showed that the superoxide dismutase (SOD) and catase (CAT) activities as well as glutathione (GSH) content in testicular tissue were de- creased in As-treated mice,accompanied with the malondialdehyde (MDA) content increases(P〈0.05), abnormal sperm and testicular structure damage(P〈0.05). However, the SOD and CAT activities were increased after the mice were exposed to both As and the grain breakfast powder. GSH content was also increased, but MDA content was declined in testicular tissue of mice exposed to As together with the grain breakfast powder. Moreover,the abnormal sperm,and the damage to testicular structure caused by As in- take was significant decreased. The results suggested that grain breakfast powder has significant protective effects on As-induced oxidative damage to testis and on male reproductive capability.
