城镇化问题是当代中国社会经济发展的综合性课题。在分析我国国情条件下新型城镇化的制约因素基础上,着重从地理空间与自然资源保护的角度,探索我国新型城镇化三个理论与实践问题：（1）如何认知我国新型城镇化的基本特征与新的路径,（2）在全球经济一体化形势下,如何构建新型城镇化的创新模式,（3）在新型城镇化实施过程中,如何认识我国城镇化本身的发展规律,走具有中国特色的新型城镇化道路。

Urbanization is a comprehensive subject in modern China social economic developmenl. Based on the analysis of factors restricting the urbanization of our country basic model conditions, fiom the geographical space and natural resources protection point of view, this paper explores three issues in theory, and practice of new urbanizatiou in China： （1） how to cognize the basic characteristics of new urbanization in China and its new path; （2） under the global economic integration situation, how to build the innovation mode of new urbanization; （3） in the implementation of the new urbanization, how to understand the law of the urbanization development in China itself, to take a new road of urbanization with Chinese characteristics.
