With an eye on the new characteristics of the readers service work under the network environment and taking the readers service practice of Xinyang normal university into consideration,this study puts forward ideas on how to innovate the readers service work in academic libraries,including an emphasis on service perceptions,Strengthen the service consciousness,an innovation of service contents and approaches,an reinforcement of librarians＇ qualities and to meet the requirements of readers to the largest extent.
