Let H be a semisimple Hopf algebra of dimension 72 over an algebraically closed field of characteristic zero.Based on the study of character algebra of H,this paper proves that the dimension of simple H-modules can only be 1,2,3,4,6 or 8.In particular,H is of Frobenius type.In addition,this paper proves that G（H） is not trivial.
