According to analyzed the hydrogeological characteristics, ore-bearing aquifer water chemistry charac- teristics, hydrodynamic conditions and the groundwater aquifer (group) characteristics. United the relationship a- mong them in northern belt of Shihongtan uranium deposit, and combined with the evaluation criteria of hydrogeo- logical conditions of leachable sandstone type uranium mining in China, comprehensively analyzed the feasibility of situ leaching in the area. The in-situ leaching conditions were favorable in this area.
