Calculation of the ball volume before the creation of calculus is a very difficult problem.However,in ancient China,India and Japan,the correct formula for calculating the volume of the ball have been derived.Therefore,for these areas,the comparative analysis of the methods and thoughts and means that have discovered and proved the equation of ball volume calculation was carried out.It not only contributes to a profound understanding of different cultures or regions of traditional math,but also helps to reveal the math exchanges between different regions and the mode of transmission and clues.
