This paper discusses the eigenvalue problem for the p-Laplacian equation with critical exponent.By using the concentration compactness principle and the mountain pass theorem without the（PS） condition,the characteristics of the eigenfunction for the p-Laplacian equation are investigated,thus obtaining the existence ofa special engenfunction.
