Aim To study and discuss the precision of Five Planets＇ Positions in Shoushi Li of the Yuan Dynasty. Methods Textual research and method of comparison. Results After calculating the daily positions of Jupiter, Mars and Saturn by the method of Shoushi Li, it was pointed out that the mean difference of fight ascension of Jupiter, Mars and Saturn are 0. 61,0. 98 and O. 38 degree, and the maximum of difference are 1.69,4. 20 and 1.13 degree during 1282-1302. Conclusion For analyzing the precision of the daily positions of the outer planets in Shoushi Li, a conclusion was mode that the daily position difference of the Jupiter, Mars and Saturn in Shoushi Li isn＇t accorded with the standard that the Calendar-makers of South the Song Dynasty expected.
