A concrete experiment teaching case to improve the study interest and enthusiasm of the freshmen with theengineering specialty in the chemical experiments was proposed, which can develop the students' experimental skills inshorter periods. The case not only had a simply and interesting principle, which was suit for the freshmen with a poorexperimental basis, but also can connect the subsequent experiment courses to cultivate their scientific literacy during theteaching process.
