Library resource semantization is a kind of practical process. Researching on theoretical system of library resource semantization will improve the height and level of the practical activity of library resource semantization. The procedure of library resource semantization relates to knowledge and methods of multidisciplinary, and library resource semantization theoretical system contains the following four aspects, cognitive linguistics, semantic web principle, metrology, and evaluation science. These theories and principles support every procedure during library resource semantization.
