[ Purpose/significance ] The value of scientific data can be continuously added when it is used, and scientific data needs effective management in order to reuse. It is of great significance to explore the methods of effective management of scientific data, especially the scientific data management of ordinary colleges. [ Method/process ] Using the grounded theory method, it selects the scientific research personnel to conduct interviews, analyzes the data, codes the data, and finally forms the scientific data management framework. [ Result/conclusion ] The scientific data in colleges needs to be managed. We should take the scientific data as the center, do a good job in the establishment, organization and utilization of scientific data, and take into account the influence of the policy environment and other factors.
