The reliability to assess process capability using process capability indices is affected by sampling errors, measurement errors and autocorrelated data. The statistical properties of the estimator of process capability indices are analysized when sample data are affected by these influence factors. The method to obtain the unbiassed estimator or the uubiassed estimator approximate value of process capability indices are given.
