The consumption of minor grain and bean crops has become an international fashion, which is a kind of rising niche industries, the new point of increasing farmers＇ income. It is a long history for production of minor grain and bean crops in Guangxi, which with rich variety. The development production of minor grain and bean crops, which has very important practical significance for the development of ecological agriculture, increasing farmers＇ income and poverty alleviation.To understand the production situation of minor grain and bean crops in Guangxi, explore the potential of niche production and promote the development of advantageous industry in Guangxi, we systematically survey the production history, species distribution and the planting pattern of minor grain and bean crops in Guangxi through literature review and field survey,combining with meeting and discussion, hope to provide the basis for the science study of minor grain and bean crops in Guangxi.
