英文摘要：
Among the researches of urbanization in Sinkiang, scholars put forward many kinds of developing modes from different angles. Based on the summarized research outcomes of urbanization development in Sinkiang, the paper proposes that characteristic industry is an effective method to promote urbanization of Sinkiang, proves the feasibility of this method and considers that it is important to emphasize the leading position of government, the transfer of rural labor forces and protection of natural environment in the process of urbanization of Sinkiang promoted by characteristic industry.
