英文摘要：
OBJECTIVE To investigate the root causes of the high price of medicine, disorder in the market of medicine and non-scientific policy in fixing the price of medicine, so as to provide scientific theory and method for the transformation of mechanism while solving the problem of high price of medicine. METHODS The theory of health statistics and health economics was used to find out the root causes for the problem —high price of medicine. RESULTS Medicine is a special kind of commodity for its unique structure of demands. Patients play a passive and subordinate role while receiving medical treatment. Doctors act as patients＇ agents, however, because of the motivation of commission of medicine, doctors will induce patients to make unreasonable purchase. CONCLUSION Make a scientific analysis of the problem and make preparations for the construction of system dynamics modeling.
