英文摘要：
The development and industrialization process in methyl mercaptan synthesis with hydrogen sulfide and methanol in domestic and international field were introduced. The reaction mechanism for the process was dis- cussed, and the key points of reaction were to reduce the alkaline of hydroxy on methanol and enhance nucleophilic performance of hydrogen sulfide. The type of catalyst, catalytic mechanism and research progress on catalyst were mainly discussed, and the application of acid and alkali catalytic theory in the progress was emphasized in this paper.
