The global behavior of solutions for a modified Leslie-Gower predator-prey system with diffusion is dis- cussed. It is found that the dynamical behavior of the reaction-diffusion system is similar to that of the corresponding ordinary differential system. Therefore, Turing instability can not occur for this reaction-diffusion system.
