气候变暖已经成为人类生存的重大威胁之一,自第一次工业革命以来,大气中二氧化碳浓度由于人类经济的迅猛发展而持续增加,而且在未来一段时期还将继续增加。如何减少大气中已经存在及未来生产中产生可能排人大气中的二氧化碳是建设低碳经济、控制气候变暖的重要方面,发展碳汇是一种可行的方法。研究发现,植物碳汇、土壤碳汇和地质碳汇具有比较强的操作性,无论对于世界还是中国都具有比较好的应用前景,建设低碳经济、应对气候变暖需要大力促进碳汇的发展。

The development of carbon sinks can reduce the carbon dioxide in the atmosphere and in the future there night be more the carbon dioxide discharged into the atmosphere. Comparing with the ocean carbon sink, plant carbon sequestration, soil carbon sequestration and geological carbon sequestration have relatively strong operation. China is located in temperate regions and has excellent geological conditions. Plant carbon sequestration, soil carbon sequestration and geological carbon sequestration have broad application prospects in China. Reforestation, land management and development of CCS technology and other measures can contribute significantly to the development of carbon sinks.
