By comparing the ecological footprint demand and eco capacity or ecological footprint supply of a district, the eco capacity of the district was quantitative diagnosed. Then the author put up the erapirical calculation on the ecological footprint of Anding District in 2004, The results showed that the per capita ecological footprint of Anding Dislrict was 0.909 hm^2.the per capita eeo eapaeity was 0.685 hm^2,the per capita ecological deficit was 0,224 1 hm^2.
