The simplified model of intelligent electric vehicle longitudinal control is built.Two degree-of-freedom control method is used to compensate the influence of this simplification.Compared with traditional PI control by simulation and field test,two degree-of-freedom control shows distinct advantage in vehicle longitudinal control.
