Electronic Toll Collection （ETC） system is the important part of Intelligent Transportation System （ITS） with features of full-automation, speediness and convenience, non-cash transaction and great capacity, etc. This thesis describes the principle of ETC system and Shanghai highway ETC system, presents the test method for ETC equipment, and provides the method for judgement of test results.
