徐梦莘《三朝北盟会编》引书数量，至清代有200余种和196种两种不同说法。传世的《书目》不是徐梦莘“手定书目”，现在所见《书目》是后人所编。现代学者在统计引书数量时也将奏章、札子、书信、序文等单篇文章计算在内，导致统计结果错误。同时还存在统计方式错误，大量脱漏单篇文章、“金国诸录”数量错误、载录作者姓氏错误及其他错误，因此导致统计数量出现重大偏差。若排除奏章等单篇文章，《三朝北盟会编》明确书名者共135种，其中杂史、笔记、杂著103种，《诗选》1种，实录2种，图经1种，行状10种，家传8种，神道碑和墓志10种。

By Qing Dynasty, there were two sayings concerning the number of reference books in Xu Mengshen＇ s SANCHAOBEIMENG HUIBIAN, one for ＇ over 200 ＇ , the other ＇ 196 ＇ Extant bibliography is written by later generations, not by Xu. Modern scholars have also included such single articles as memorials to the throne, paperwork, letters and prefaces when counting the reference book number, which leads to statistical error. The omission of single articles, errors on the number of every Record of the Jin, errors in recording authors＇ surnames and other errors also lead to significant deviation in statistics. If single articles excluded, there would be 135 clear titles in SANCHAOBEIMENG HUIBIAN, involving 103 unofficial history books and notes, 1 Collection of Poems, 2 memoirs, 1 geography book with maps, 10 biographical sketches, 8 family biographies, 10 tombstones and epitaphs.
