基因启动子(promoter)是 DNA 上决定 RNA 聚合酶转录起始位点的序列,是基因的一个重要组成部分,控制基因表达的起始和表达的程度,而基因表达的最终产物是 RNA和蛋白质,这两大类物质对维持生命活动不可缺少。因此,对基因的启动子进行克隆并研究其功能对研究基因表达调控机制具有重要意义。本文主要就两种常用的启动子克隆技术和启动子调控功能的研究进展做了简要综述,并对启动子的研究前景做了展望。
Gene promoter is an important part of the gene,which is a DNA sequence determining RNA polymerase transcription start site.It can controls the start of gene expression and expression level.The gene expression products are mRNA and protein,which are necessary for maintaining the life activities. Thus,it is vital important to study on the promoter function of a gene and it’s regulation mechanism.In this paper,two common cloning technology and the regulation function of the promoter and prospected the in cattle were summarized .
