企业在全球范围内构建研发网络日益成为提升创新绩效的重要途径。基于资源基础观和交易成本理论,提出研发伙伴多样性与创新绩效之间存在倒U型关系。以218家中国医药制造企业为研究样本,实证结果表明,企业的研发伙伴组织多样性和研发伙伴地理多样性均会积极地影响其创新绩效,而倒U型的曲线关系未得到证实。此外,研发合作经验增强了研发伙伴组织多样性对创新绩效的积极关系,而研发合作经验对研发伙伴地理多样性与创新绩效之间关系的调节效应未得到证实。
It becomes increasingly important for companies to improve their innovation performance through building R&D network around the Worldwide. Based on RBV and TCT, we put forward that there exists an inverted U-shaped relationship between R&D partner diversity and innovation performance. Then, this study uses a sample of 218 pharmaceutical companies in China to examine the relationships between R&D partner organizational diversity or R&D partner geographical diversity and innovation performance and how R&D cooperation experience moderates these relationships. The result indicates that both R&D partner organizational diversity and R&D partner geographical diversity have positive impact on innovation performance. The result also indicates that the R&D cooperation experience moderates positively the relationship between R&D partner organizational diversity and innovation performance, but the moderating effect of R&D cooperation experience on the relationship between R&D partner geographical diversity and innovation performance has not been verified. Also, this study has a strong practical significance for the domestic pharmaceutical companies.
