旅游集散中心是应对我国城市与区域旅游互动发展趋势而兴起的一种旅游空间组织模式。最初是专门便利城市旅游散客开展旅游的服务平台。随着城市与周边区域的旅游互动发展,旅游集散中心发挥着作为城市游客、居民向周边区域开展一日游的重要组织功能。1998年,旅游集散中心发端于上海。随之,许多城市借鉴上海经验,结合自身实际情况,相继成立了旅游集散中心。旅游集散中心的发展与布局受城市规模、旅游发展水平、区位与旅游吸引物等因素影响。中国城市所服务的旅游市场的特点不同,旅游集散中心的具体运作模式与经营效果也各不相同。旅游集散中心的进一步发展面临着一些新的问题和挑战,其中,如何实现旅游集散中心与公共交通职能的衔接和分工,是需要进一步关注的问题。
A tourist center is a new mode of spatial organization of tourism, which responds to the development trend of the tourism interaction among cities and regions in China. At first, it is a special service platform to facilitate the individual tourists. With the tourism interaction between the city and the peripheral area, it acts as an important organization for citizens and tourists in cities to go to the peripheral area to enjoy a day excursion. Tourist centers arose in Shanghai in 1998 as a new pattern of tourism operation. The successful operation of Shanghai tourist center has built a good example to other cities so that many cities build their own ones one after another, according to their own actual conditions. Many complications can affect the devel- opment and location of tourist centers, such as the sizes of cities, the development level of tourism industry in cities, the location and traveling attractions of cities, and so on. Just as there exist many different characteristics for the tourist markets in the cities, so there are various operation modes and operational performanees for tourist centers. The further development of tourist center is facing problems and challenges. Especially, how to realize the cooperation and functional division between the tourist center and public transport sector needs to be concerned.
