随着中国旅游空间竞合关系发展，区域旅游合作进入了新的发展阶段。总体上中国区域旅游合作的空间格局受制于中国经济的区域化格局影响，东部地区旅游合作发育程度高，相对成熟，而中西部地区区域旅游合作发育程度相对低，合作组织及平台机制相对松散。进一步提高区域旅游合作主体的行为质量，深化合作机制、完善合作平台，维系合作的可持续性，是中国区域旅游合作深度发展关注的主要命题．
英文摘要：
The regional tourism cooperation has entered a new stage with the development of spatial competing and cooperation in China. Overall, the spatial structure development of China＇s regional tourism cooperation subjects to the developing situation of its regional economy. The regional tourism cooperation develops on a high level and is relatively mature in East China ; meanwhile it develops on a low level and has relatively loose cooperative platform and mechanism in Central ＆ West China. The main topics to concern in deep developing process of China＇s regional tourism cooperation includes further enhancing the operation quality of cooperators, deepening the cooperation mechanism and improving the cooperation platform, and maintaining the sustainability of cooperation.
