本文利用制造业12180家企业1998～2001年的面板数据，考察了内、外资企业间的技术差距以及技术差距对外商直接投资（FDI）技术溢出效应的影响。结果表明，在控制了企业规模、经营年限等因素的影响后，内资企业与外资企业间仍存在显著的技术差距；FDI企业对于技术水平低于所在行业中外资企业平均技术水平的内资企业的技术溢出主要发生在同地区的三位数行业间，而对于技术水平高于行业中外资企业平均技术水平的内资企业的技术溢出主要发生在同一个三位数行业的地区之间，且内、外资企业间的技术差距会显著影响FDI对内资企业的技术溢出。
英文摘要：
Using firm-level panel data of 12, 180 Chinese manufacturing enterprises from 1998 to 2001, this paper studies the technology gap between foreign enterprises and domestic ones, and its impact on FDI technology spillovers in China. After controlling the firm scale, operation age and other factors, a significant technology gap exists between foreign enterprises and domestic ones. The FDI spillovers mainly exist in the three-digit inter-industry for domestic enterprises whose technology level is lower than the average of its foreign enterprise counterpart. While for higher-level technology group, the spillovers mostly exist in the three- digit intra-industry. Furthermore, the spillover effect is prone to be more significant after enlarging technology gaps.
