人地关系地域系统论是研究有关人类及其各种社会活动与地理环境关系的理论,该理论认为地是人赖以生存的物质基础和空间场所,人能够对地理环境进行认识、利用、改变和保护,使之更好地为人类社会发展服务,且随着社会发展,人地关系也在不断变化。本文通过对比中国人地关系和交通运输发展演进历史发现,中国的交通运输是伴随人地关系变化而逐步发展起来的。在传统农业生产时期,交通运输是基于解决城市(区域)发展水平提高后,自身生产不能满足消费需求而发展起来的;在机器大工业生产时期,人地关系发生了变化,矿产、土地等资源成为影响人类社会的主要地理环境,资源分布空间分异及消费空间聚集,使得资源供需在空间上形成矛盾,现代交通运输正是在缓解和解决此矛盾的过程中发展起来的。
The theory of human-earth relation is researched on the relation between human activities and geographic environment.This theory argues that the earth provides materials and spaces for humans to live.Meanwhile,humans have the ability to recognize it,use it and change it with the purpose of making the earth serve humans better and better.Also,the big point is that humans can change steps of development of this relationship.By analyzing the history of human-earth relations in China and transportation development,this article finds out that the transportation in China develops step by step based on the changes of humanearth relation.In the traditional agricultural society,earth environment influences human activities via influencing agricultural production,that is,when cities grow bigger gradually,people finds that they cannot survive by only depending on their own production.Instead,they need productions from other regions.In order to solve this problem,traditional transportation develops.However,after entering the industrialized period,Chinese human-earth relation changes,and the way earth environment influencing humans changes,too.As a result,modern transportation is developed so as to solve the conflict between human demands and resource supply.
