As a kind of emerging statistical methods to analyze high-dimensional data, Projection Pursuit have been used in various areas of research. This article introduces the emergence, development and the principle of projection pursuit model, and illustrates the application of projection pursuit model in the enterprise evaluation system through the applications in enterprise technology innovation dynamic evaluation, enterprise performance evaluation and commercial bank credit risk evaluation.
