随着越来越多的中国接包方进入全球KPO市场,对离岸KPO战略联盟建立机制和作用结果的深入了解将有助于中国接包方通过战略联盟提升国际竞争力。本文从接包方视角出发,以西安、苏州、大连三地的101家离岸KPO接包方企业为样本,结合调研数据与档案数据进行实证。结果表明:(1)接包方的知识产权和顾客导向战略会促进离岸KPO战略联盟的建立,而接包方的外部导向战略和双方的商业距离会阻碍离岸KPO战略联盟的建立;(2)接包方可以从离岸KPO战略联盟中获得经营和战略两方面收益。
Since more and more vendors in China begin to enter global knowledge process outsourcing(KPO) market, an in-depth understanding of the formation mechanisms and consequences of strategic alliance in offshore KPO will help vendors in China enhance their global competitiveness via strategic alliances. From the vendor's perspective, this paper combines survey and archival data to empirically analyze 101 offshore KPO vendors from Xi' an, Suzhou and Dalian. Results shown that, first, the vendor' s intellectual property and customer orientation will facilitate, whereas the vendor' s external orientation and business distance between outsourcing parties will deter the formation of strategic alliance. Second, the formation of strategic alliance will bring both operational and strategic benefits to the vendor.
