Asset-light business model is the product of individuation development in special competition situations; it's a new strategic thinking that maximizes value with lowest input. The benefit from low cost but high out and the operation style of light asset become the classics model, the domain of business model and strategic management. But the success of this model operation needs unique internal ability support. This article will combine theory and commercial practice, analyze the connotation, reason and internal regularity of the asset-light business model, discuss such five kinds of strategic ability as value innovation ability, resource integration ability, cross management ability, dynamic ability and learning ability, which support the operation of this model and determine the efficiency variance and yield differentials.
