A hypothesis model about how the characters of TMT influence strategy decisionmaking has been put forward based on the theory of TMT character. Through an investigation to the private corporations, the study found that the average tour of duty and the average level of education of TMT have notable influence on the exactness, rapidity and cost of strategy decisionmaking. The average age of the TMT members doesn＇t have notable influence on the speed of strategy decision-making, and the heterogeneity of tour of duty for TMT members has no prominent influence upon the exactness of the strategy decision-making either.
