The Theory of Extraordinary Diseases Forty-seven was an important chapter in Su Wen （Plain Con- versation） which discussed ten extraordinary diseases including aphonia during pregnancy,Xi-ji,and Dan-dan. This paper analyzed the academic characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine acupuncture from aspects of guiding principle,therapeutic and contraindication in order to provide ideas and evidences for clinical application and development.
