Treatment of Lumbago with Acupuncture Chapter is one of the most important chapters in Yellow Emperor＇s Canon of Medicine · Plain Conversation. This chapter mainly discusses the lumbago characteristic caused by bladder meridian of Foot-Taiyang,gallbladder meridian of Foot-Shaoyang,stomach meridian of Foot-Yangming,kidney meridian of Foot-Shaoyin,liver meridian of Foot-Jueyin,spleen meridian of Foot-Taiyin and the eight extra meridians and other meridians after damaged and puts forward the corresponding acupuncture points,number of acupuncture,bloodletting therapy and matters needing attention according to the specific condition of meridians,the four seasons,phase of the moon and so on. It also corrects the mistakes for the treatment of lumbago only considering kidney and liver and provides more theoretical basis for future clinical and scientific research.
