Supercapacitor is also called pseudocapacitors,which is a novel power storage device between various rechargeable batteries and the traditional capacitor.In recent years,the supercapacitor attracts global attentions due to its long cycle life,good charge-discharge performance at large rate,short charge time and environmental friendliness.The electrode materials for supercapacitor include carbon-based electrode materials,conductive polymer electrode materials and transition metal oxide electrode materials.The review reports the research progress of transition metal oxide materials and the prospective development.
